Hello Sairaj,
Yes, you can apply for 30% seat as 70% seats are filled by JEE Mains students and 30% seat is filled with board marks so you can apply you may get a seat there.

Hello Ravi!
Your score is not bad but your chances to get a seat at a Sastra University is a little low. Even if you get a seat you may not get the top courses like CSE, mechanical, electronics, IT, etc. If you have appeared for JEE main, then your chances for getting admission would increase.

Hello janani!
You can get a seat at Sastra University. But your chances for getting computer science engineering or it is a little low. So that you may or may not get as your percentile is comparatively low. But, you can get the other courses.
Your percentile will be 88.66(0.75) + 50(0.25) =78.995 which will be 80. On this basis you will be placed on a rank.
Apply under stream 1 at www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10.

Yes, there are good chances for you to get a seat for computer science engineering at Sastra University. You have a good score and your percentile will be 98.5(0.75) + 64(0.25) = 89.875. On this basis, you will be placed on a rank.

Hello Chithkala,
Anna University and its top 10 affiliated colleges are better for engineering. The main campus of Anna University and MIT campus are better than Sastra University.
Sastra University is better than some of the colleges but not better than the top ones like PSG etc.
But, I think with this score you can surely have a seat at Sastra University and you have low chances to get a good college from Anna University.
In Sastra University, they consider the overall percentage, so that with a percentage of 98.7 marks, you can surely have a seat. In case of Anna University, you need to go for other state quota, where the seats are les

Yes, you have good chances to get mechanical engineering at Sastra University, Thanjavur. You have a percentage of 97.7 which is really good to get a seat.If you have not appeared for JEE Mains, then apply through stream 2 at www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10.
