So you are eligible for stream 2 as you haven't written JEE Mains. It's hard to get a seat in main campus of sastra with your score. If you want only CSE you can apply for kumbakonam campus of sastra you can have a chance to get CSE.

Maybe you can get other branch seats with your score. You can try up to last round of counselling for those seats or you can join in any branch you got and if you done well in 1st year of engineering by getting 9CGP you can avail CSE offer.

Under stream 1 : 97.5 % and above IPE score with 93-95% above JEE Mains percentile
Under stream. 2 : 98.5% and above of IPE score.

You have to mention IPE score for 1000. If you want Information technology your Ipe score has to be 975 and above range with your Mains percentile under stream 1.

Hostel fees are cheap like 10,000- 12,0000 per year (not included food). They are not that much well posh furnished but you can have a normal old type university peaceful hostel stay. In mess they will offer only vegetarian food, you have to pay 3,500-4,000 per month for your food. You can have 3 types of breakfast varieties, lunch - rice and chapatti, for dinner - 3days rice and remaining days they will offer tiffin type of dishes.

As per previous years statistics, it's hard to get those 3 branches in sastra. You can get other branch seats. If you wish only CSE/ECE you can wait up to last round of counselling as every year ranking procedure changes or you can get any branch seat study hard in 1st year if you get 9CGPA you can avail CSE from 2nd year onwards.
