Gap periods are acceptable in US. I assume you are applying to US universities. Provide a statement of activity along with your SOP. Take part in extracurriculars and voluntary work in addition to the college preparation.

Why not? Your education board has nothing to do with. SAT is open to everyone and has no eligibility. High school students take the SAT to study UG programs abroad.

Dear Vaibhav,
A SAT score of 1350 to 1500 is a standard score for getting into a good university. Universities also have their own requirements. So, always check on their websites.

Hi Nitin,
Please clarify if you want to get into Howard or Harvard. Both universities are different but people often make typo errors. As for admission requirements, you may check it easily on the university website but for guidance please clarify the university name.

Hi Sagar,
It is good to have a consistent academic record. Marks from 10th onwards is important. Plus, if your SAT score is good along with your school marks then admission chances will increase automatically. If, however, you can't do well in your 11th and work very hard on your 12th and SAT and also work on your extra curricular.

As per most of the students who have appeared for SAT and JEE exams have the opinion that JEE Advanced is very tough in comparison to SAT.
