The best way is to attempt few mock tests and identify your strengths and weaknesses and then start preparing. College board provides the details of 20 subjects which you can take so choose and go through the material carefully. All you need is lot of practice to train your brain in attempting it.

SAT subject tests are optional and depends on the university requirements. You must check the same on the admission requirements page of the university. You have not mentioned much details to guide you further. Good luck!
