Binghamton University is a test-optional institution for SAT and ACT scores. This means that students are not obligated to provide SAT/ACT scores. Students can choose to submit these scores for academic evaluation or to fulfill the English proficiency requirement in your application if you wish to do so. If you're an Indian or non-native student applying to a programme at Binghamton University, you need to demonstrate your English language skills. You can do this by submitting test scores from exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, or Duolingo English Test. Binghamton University accepts these English proficiency test scores.

Yes, the SAT or ACT scores are required for all freshman applicants. The SAT and ACT score will vary from course to course. However, SAT/ACT scores are not required for Spring, Summer or Fall 2024 admission. This is applicable to those applicants who have a 3.4 GPA or higher. The SAT and ACT score should be directly submitted by the official source to the university.

The institute does not need SAT or ACT scores and instead places a strong emphasis on applicants' GPAs. For international students, passing marks on English language exams like the IELTS or an equivalent are essential. For undergraduate programs,   Standard XII with a minimum of 65% or completion of a recognised foundation course is needed.
