Hello Jayashri,
There is nothing like SAT in India. Admissions are based on marks obtained in 12th. Of course, for admission into professional courses, there are state level or Pan India entrance tests. So, depending on your interest and desire, you can take admission directly or via an entrance test.
Best wishes.

As I was stuck in my studies for SAT and came across an institute name Trinity Global Education Thought for contacting them. In the first call itself the counselor made me comfortable by explaining me the entire process for applying for SAT and booked my schedule for a DEMO lecture. Hi Ashutosh,
There is no hard and fast rule here, know that they are different tests. Andhra Pradesh is more rigorous and requires more deep understanding of particular subject. But technically, it is easier to score in Andhra Pradesh than in SAT. Andhra Pradesh is similar to SAT subject test and held only once a year. Taking the Andhra Pradesh will also be a good prep for SAT subject test. You can speak to a collegboard advisory for guidance.
