It is not necessary if you are already qualified to be a scientist. You have to take SAT if you wish to pursue your Bachelor's degree in the USA. If you already have the required qualifications then apply for research-oriented jobs and projects.

You must take the SAT if you wish to pursue your Bachelor's degree in US. But you are already pursuing your B.Com, if you plan to study PG, you have to check the country-specific requirements and take the exams accordingly.

If you have an outstanding profile they will give you financial aid. Scholarships are provided on merit. So, very good academics grades and an excellent SAT score would be required. Also, you need to check if SAT will be required or not and then prepare accordingly.
