The test consists of reading, writing and language, maths and an optional essay. You can check the official website of SAT for the updated syllabus, pattern, etc.

Hi, its about time management. The strategy used will differ from person to person. Ideally 3-5 months are required to prepare for the test. You must schedule it accordingly. Always begin by taking a practice test as it is a good practice and it shows your current aptitude skills and areas that need attention. You may plan out your study routine accordingly. Besides working on weak areas give your best at the areas you are confident in, these are the areas which will help you score higher. Read a lot, learn new vocabulary, follow current affairs, journals, etc. Above all, eat healthy and relax.

Hi Shrey, don't feel low. You will get very good universities abroad and don't limit yourself to just one university. Explore your options. With 88%, you can target the top universities in USA, Canada, Australia and so on. Of course, you must also have good extra curricular and a strong profile too. With regards to your query, yes you can take the SAT but check NUS website because they don't require SAT for CBSE students. Universities in Canada, Australia and New Zealand don't require the SAT, so you can try them as well. Scholarships are given on merit, your chances of getting scholarships are good. Either you can look for University specific Scholarships or you can try and apply to The Next Genius Scholarship Program. There are very few options for scholarships for Undergraduate education in the US.

SAT is a standardized test which colleges and universities in the US require to understand the college readiness of students. It has questions based on maths and English. About 3.5 hrs long SAT has multiple choice questions and requires about 3-6 months of preparation.
