The SBI Clerk cutoff is determined by numerous factors, including the vacancy, the number of individuals that apply, and the difficulty level of the paper. The age of candidates for SBI Clerk 2023 must be between 20 and 28 years. SBI Clerk age limit is such that candidates must have born not earlier than August 2, 1994 and not later than August 1, 2002 (Both Days Inclusive). There is a negative marking in the SBI Clerk exam. 1/4th mark assigned to a particular question is deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. For correct answers in the exam, candidates score one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions of the exam are normalised using the equi-percentile method. Scores upto two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. The marks of candidates are calculated as per marking scheme. Candidates should attempt maximum number of questions to secure the desired score in the exam.

SBI normalisation is an important aspect of the exam. The prelims and Mains exams of SBI Clerk are held in various shifts, therefore, normalisation is applied to calculate the scores of candidates. SBI Clerk normalisation is done since there is some variation in the level of difficulty among with the shifts. SBI uses SBI Clerk normalisation to deal with the type of fluctuation. To balance the candidate's marks, SBI Clerk normalisation is followed which helps in adjusting the scores of all candidates. Banking exams that are conducted in different shifts do follow the normalisation process to normalise the marks secured by candidates. SBI Clerk exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). SBI Clerk normalisation is using the equi-percentile method.
