SBI PO final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam and Group Exercises. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. For verification, candidates need to provide anyone of photo-identity proofs such as passport,  PAN card, driving license, voter’s card, bank passbook, duly attested photograph/Identity card issued by the school or college/gazetted officer, Aadhaar Card. No, ration card is not considered valid photo-identity proof. Also, learners driving license is not considered. The details regarding the SBI PO exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card. The admit card comprises details such as the candidate's name, roll number, category, exam date, time, details of exam centre, scanned photograph, and signature. Candidates need to appear for the exam in the centres allotted to them. The admit card of candidates are verified at the exam centres. Candidates should keep the authenticated prelims admit card and photo-identity proof safely because they will require it at the time of the Mains exam. Candidates without the Mains admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Candidates can choose one SBI PO exam city each for prelims and Mains exams. Candidates are required to enter their preferences of exam cities during application. The exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their preferences. However, in case of unavailability of exam centres candidates are allotted to the exam centre other than the one selected by them.
