 The preliminary exam of SBI PO comprises the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The prelims exam is only conducted to screen candidates for the Mains exam. The marks obtained in this stage are not counted for the final merit list. SBI PO scorecard for the prelims exam is released along with the result. However, the scorecard for the Mains exam is released after the declaration of the final result. SBI PO scorecard is released online separately for different stages of exams. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number, date of birth and captcha code. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post. The scorecard comprises the section-wise and overall scores as well as cut off marks. SBI PO prelims exam carries three sections-Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The Mains exam carries five sections-Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Data Interpretation & Analysis and General/Economy/Banking Awareness. Before appearing in the Group Discussion & Interview, candidates need to appear for the psychometric test. The report of the psychometric test will be shared before the interview panel. The Interview & Group Discussion is held for 50 marks.

Yes, there is a limit in the number of attempts in SBI PO exam. The number of attempts for the General category is four and seven for General (PwD), OBC and OBC (PwD). There is no restriction on the number of attempts for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. Candidates should check the number of attempts before applying to the exam.
