Candidates need to write SBI PO handwritten declaration in their own handwriting. The handwritten declaration should be written in capital letters. The text for the handwritten declaration is given below:“I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______, hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. The prelims and mains exams of SBI PO are conducted online. The prelims exam of SBI PO carries a total of 100 marks. The mains exam of SBI PO carries 250 marks. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam. However, the marks of the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam.

After joining to the post of SBI PO, candidates are on probation for two years. Candidates are required to undergo training regarding the various bank processes. They are subjected to various assessments as per bank's extant policy. After completing the probation, candidates are confirmed in the service of the bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).

The performance in the SBI PO psychometric test is not counted for the final merit list. However, the performance in the test is shared to the interview panel. The psychometric test is qualifying in nature.

To be eligible for SBI PO exam, candidates must be a graduate. Those who have only passed Class 12 are not eligible to apply for the exam. The age limit for SBI PO exam is 21 and 30 years. Candidates must check the eligibility before applying for SBI PO exam.
