The SBI Specialist Officer (SO) exam process consists of different stages: an online written test followed by an interview for short-listed candidates. The test generally tests the candidates against the subjects relevant to specialisation such as IT, marketing, law, HR, etc., depending upon the posts applied for. After that, the candidates are short-listed and called up for an interview where again their knowledge and skills will be tested. Then after qualifying in the interview, their documents are verified, and they are appointed.
