The result of SBI is declared in the following stages:
SBI Result for Preliminary Exam
This is the first stage of the SBI result. On the basis of the result of this stage, candidates are selected for the Mains exam. Candidates approximately 10 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted based on the SBI result of the prelims exam. SBI Result for Mains Exam
The Mains exam is conducted for the qualified candidates of the preliminary exam. This is the second stage of the SBI result. Based on the result of the Mains exam, candidates three times the number of vacancies are called for Group Exercises & Interview. The Group Exercises & Interview are conducted for the SBI PO exam. SBI Result for Final Selection
Final selection of candidates for the Clerical post is done based on the marks of the Mains exam provided candidates qualify for the local language test. Final selection for the PO post is done based on the performance of candidates in the Mains exam and Group Exercises & Interview. The performance of candidates in the preliminary exam is not taken into consideration for the preparation of the final merit list.
