The Merit Scholarship at IEC University is purely based on the students' performance in the qualifying exam exams. A student who has scored more than 85% in Class 12 can take advantage of this scholarship programme. The scholarships are provided for first-year students only.   

Pragati/ Saksham Scheme is available only to female candidates whose annual family income does not exceed INR 8 Lacs per year and who are admitted diploma/degree programme in the institution approved by AICTE. Under the scheme, the student is eligible to receive a sum of INR 30,000 or the actual tuition fees paid, whichever is less. The student, if he/she is staying in a hostel, is also entitled to receive INR 20,000 towards a contingency allowance.
