Candidates who have passed 10+2 education from a recognised board in any stream, i.e., Science, Commerce, or Arts, are eligible to the B. Design programme at Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture and Design with an aggregate percentage score of 50%. An additional requirement is entrance examination by the university itself in order to assess students' aptitude as well as creativity in the arena of design. Further selection processes include a personal interview for the assessment of the candidates. Such criteria ensure that the students are well qualified and have good backgrounds to enable them to participate effectively in the B.Des program.

The approximate fee for B.Des at Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture and Design would be around INR 1.5 lakh a year. The alumni, on average, can expect a stipend in the range of INR 3 to 5 lakh per annum, based on their skill and going rates in the market. The school will focus more on practical training and industry exposure, which increases employability. The highest performers will be able to command better salaries, perhaps even in the range of tens of lakhs, depending upon the industry as well-in design firms or in related industries.
