The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) is a 4-year full-time course offered by Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP). The course covers various aspects of design such as interior design, fashion design, product design, and graphic design. The course also emphasizes on design thinking, innovation, and sustainability.According to the Placement Manual 2021-2022 of MSAP, the institute has a well-organized placement team that helps students find internships and jobs in reputed firms and organizations. Placements at MSAP happen in two ways: On-Campus and Off-Campus, in which 200 firms across India and abroad recruit UG & PG students every year.Some of the notable recruiters for B.Des graduates are:Interior Design: CnT Architects, Gensler, RSP Design Consultants, Hafeez Contractor, etc.Fashion Design: Arvind Lifestyle Brands, Myntra, Raymond, Shoppers Stop, etc.Product Design: Philips, Titan, Bosch, Dell, etc.Graphic Design: Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc.The average salary package offered to B.Des graduates is around 5.5 LPA.
