Placements are good enough, especially for freshers. It is almost 100% placement for all those students who are attending the placement process. Last year around 125 companies have come to recruit students from Christ. This year almost 150 companies are expected to come for placements. Top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, TCS, HUL, LG, Wipro etc. come for placements. Average package is around 6lpa and there is a good opportunity for freshers too. Few companies ask for freshers or below one year work experience only.

There is no management quota to join Christ university. You need the specified eligibility criteria and should perform well in the admission process to get selected.

Christ does not accept XAT score.
A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September / December 2015 / February 2016 OR a composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2015 OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission test (CMAT 2016) OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Admission test 2015 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR 70 percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2016 OR 70 percentile or above in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2016). And 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations.

Hostel fee includes only the accommodation fee of the range Rs. 25000 to 44000 per anum depending on the type of sharing you opt for. There is no mess provided along with the hostel. But there are many canteens available within the campus, which provide you food at reasonable prices everyday.

50% or above marks are considered as eligibility criteria for admission process and later your admission shall purely be based on the performance during the admission process. And once you join Christ, your practical knowledge would be tested more during examinations rather than bookish knowledge.

Yes Christ is way better than many other colleges, especially for freshers. Placements last year was almost 99% for all the ones attending the placement process. Average package is around 6lpa. Major companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, TCS, Philips, Amazon, LG, MTR etc. come. 150 companies are expected to come this year by the end of the term.
