To be eligible for a B.Tech programme at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) School of Computer Science, candidates must meet the following criteria:Have passed class 10 and 12 with a minimum of 50% marksHave a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in class 12Qualify for the UPESEAT exam in the year of admission  Candidates must also be a minimum of 17 years of age and a maximum of 23 years.  The university shortlists students based on UPESEAT, JEE Main scorecard, and Board merit lists.
