Hi Giri,
School of Distance Education-Andhra University provides various Certificate courses, Diploma courses, PG Diploma Courses, graduation and profession courses as well.
As per the information provided by the university, PG Diploma in Environmental Studies charges fee for Rs. 3,300/- for a duration of 1 year. It is an English medium course and provides Distance/Correspondence degree.
The eligibility is to be a graduate.

Yes, you surely can. AICTE has given this task to the institutes to decide the eligibility for admission in any course. So, if you can convince the administration that your course is similar to Mechanical and that you would be able to study B.Tech without any problem. Then they may give admission.

B.Tech through correspondence will be a waste of time and resources. AICTE doesn't recognise such courses. You would be better off studying a regular course. Pursue the same course from Andhra University but in regular mode. The admissions must be over by now. You can try again next year or choose another college.

You are eligible for M.Com but you should attempt the exam which was conducted by Andhra University and get good marks. You should also write the PGCET which was conducted by the AP Government. Both of these exams are written.

Selection to the PG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. AU-SDE offers online mode of application.
