School of Engineering and Technology CMR University applications are currently open for UG, PG and PhD courses. The university admits candidates for PhD course twice a year in the months of January and July. However, applications are invited throughout the year. Aspirants need to fill out the application form and pay a non-refundable fee to register for a course.

Candidates applying for UG courses need to pass a minimum of Class 12. The minimum aggregate required is 45% in Class 12 to apply for BTech. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 can apply for admission provided they also fulfil the selection requirements. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for Karnataka reserved category candidates.

Yes, School of Engineering and Technology CMR University accepts JEE score for BTech courses. Candidates who have not qualified JEE can also apply for BTech with a valid score in KCET or COMEDK. The university also conducts CMRUAT for admission to BTech programme.

School of Engineering and Technology CMR University admissions are entrance-based. The university conducts CMRUAT for admission to BTech and M.Tech courses. The school also accepts COMEDK, JEE Main or KCET for BTech programme. SOET selects candidates for PhD coursed based on the entrance test conducted by the university. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round.
