The candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for various courses at SET NIU : B.Tech -:  To be eligible for the program candidates must have at least 50% marks in 10+2 with physics and maths as compulsory subjects.Mtech -:  To be eligible for the Mtech program, candidates must have a b.tech in the relevant specialisation with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Gate qualified students can apply directly for M.tech admission.PhD -: To be eligible for PhD program candidates must have atleast 50% in M tech in the relevant specialisation or equivalent.Diploma -:  Students are selected for the Diploma program based on the entrance exam conducted by the SET.
