BTech is one of the popular courses of UPES Dehradun offered via School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES . As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020. The cost of MSc at School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES is around INR 3.54 lakh. The fee is taken from various sources hence indicative. Candidates might have to pay one time fees at the admission. The fees might include components other than hostel fee, which will be included in the admission fee. Additionally, candidates have to pay one-time payment of Security Deposit, Alumni Fee and Identity Card fees of INR 22,000.

Yes, candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 can apply for BTech/ BTech (Hons) course with JEE Main or CUET score. Aspirants must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. For aspirants who wish to apply with their merit in the last qualifying exam must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 75%-80% aggregate and a minimum of 75%-80% aggregate in Class 12 PCM subjects.

Yes, you can get into School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES without entrance exam. As the school offers admission to few courses without any entrance exams. Course like BSc is based on interview, where there is no entrance exam required. However, admission to other courses are based on the entrance exam like JEE Main and university based exam such as UPES University : UPESEAT (University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test) and UPES PAT 2024 (Pharmacy Aptitude Test).
