In order to apply for the LLM programme at the School of Law at Christ University, candidates must have finished their LLB degree (either a 3-year or 5-year course) with a total of 50% aggregate from any recognised university in India or abroad as per UGC or AIU guidelines. Furthermore, students who are currently in the process of completing their degree exams are also permitted to submit their applications. Candidates in their final year must have achieved a score of 50% higher in all semesters of their undergraduate exams.

According to the Christ University website, the eligibility criteria for BBA LLB at the School of Law, Christ University is as follows:Pass in Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in all subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).Pass in the Christ University Law Admission Test (CLAT).
