Securing 85% in the DU SOL semester exams can be difficult. Known as the School of Open Learning, the institute provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses through distance learning. As per the student reviews on the web, securing good marks in DU SOL semester exams can be slightly challenging, if the students don't put in extra effort. The college does provide online classes and study materials, but unlike the regular colleges, there are no strict rules for attendance or other related things. Additionally, there are no assignments for the UG courses. Hence, students must completely rely on the semester exams to score well.

Yes, as it is an Open School and there is no limit for seat intake, you can certainly get direct admission in DU SOL. The college offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate level, admissions to which are entirely merit-based. However, students should note that even though admissions are accepted directly for the UG courses, they must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria prior to applying.
