Both the open universities are quite popular. There is a notable difference in the tuition fee for BA courses at both the universities. The tuition fee at BRAOU for BA is INR 7,700. While the tuition fee for BA at DU SOL ranges between INR 1,500 - INR 6,000. The degree from the both the universities is recognised. However, DU SOL is quite popular among students as it is linked to Delhi University. Hence, students can make a decision by considering the location.

Delhi University offers various UG courses and to apply for these courses candidates have to clear the entrance exam. The results of the CUET admission exams determine the DU cutoff for UG courses. CUET PG scores are accepted for the PG cutoff. Additionally, associated colleges provide admission to Delhi University's undergraduate and graduate programmes. Each year, the round-by-round merit lists are made available on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.
