UPES School of Computer Science is considered one of the best schools in Dehradun for computer Science engineering (CSE) and is a trusted IT college. Admission to the UPES School of Computer Science is based on merit and scores from entrance exams. The admission process is online.  The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) offers three admission pathways:UPSEAT: Covers 80% of seats. Candidates must appear for the JEE Main exam and obtain a valid score. The UPESEAT exam is a two-hour computer-based exam conducted online.Board marks: Requires exceptional scores.JEE Main marks: For All India seats.  Students are expected to have a minimum of 50% marks in class X and XII, and a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
