Under the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram, the Cloud Computing department offers a specialised programme within the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering curriculum. This programme includes the following components:Cloud Computing: Students will delve into the world of cloud computing, which is the backbone of modern digital infrastructure. They will learn about cloud architectures, services, and the principles behind scalable and sustainable solutions.Virtualization: The specialisation covers the fundamentals of virtualization, which is a crucial technology in cloud computing. Students will understand how virtualization works and its significance in creating flexible and efficient cloud environments.Cloud Scripting: As part of their advanced studies, students will explore cloud scripting techniques, enabling them to automate and optimize cloud services. This knowledge is valuable for managing cloud resources efficiently.Cloud Security: In the context of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, students will address major concerns related to cloud security. This includes understanding the strategies and tools needed to secure cloud-based systems and data.The Cloud Computing specialisation within the B.Tech programme at IILM University, Gurugram, is designed to prepare students for careers in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of cloud computing. The placement rate of Computer Science engineering is better as compared to Biotechnology. Because heigh demand of i. T departments in almost every sector of work. Ganpat University records its highest placement percentage in the engineering department, with almost 96% of students being placed. In the year of 2021-22 placements, the engineering department bagged the highest package, while the management department bagged the highest average package.Ganpat university provides summer internships to the students in their 4th and 6th semesters (for 4-year programmes). Students are provided with internship opportunities during the Ganpat University recruitment process. In addition, students are also encouraged to find internships off campus. The summer internship programmes expose students to the professional world and help them gain experience. About 20-25% of students are offered PPOs during their internships.
