Science Eligibility

Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal Memorial Arts and Science Women's College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.A.Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission.B.Sc.Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission.B.ComCandidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to the B.Com degree course.
Candidates who have not studied commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination with the mentioned marks are also eligible. SC/ST candidates need get only a pass.

Vasantrao Naik college of Arts, Commerce and Science has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.Sc.Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board.B.A.Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with English or any one of the Modern Indian/Foreign Languages or any classical Language or Information Technology from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. OR
Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with vocational subject conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with English/Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks prescribed by the Board from time to time./Any three subjects carrying 100 marks each are eligible to apply. OR
Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with the Minimum Competency based vocational courses conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with English/Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or Classical Language or Information Technology/General Foundation Course/Any one subject carrying 300 marks from among the Minimum Competency based vocational courses prescribed by the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination from time to time are eligible to apply. OR
Candidate passed an examination of another University or Body Recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.B.ComCandidate passed 12th/equivalent from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
Candidate passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination with vocational subjects are eligible to apply.

Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed Undergraduate from any University recognised by UGC or Professional degree holder from the faculty of Engineering/Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Law and Architecture of any University recognised by UGC.

Candidates passed 10+2 with grading system, must have grades equi. to mentioned aggregate %.
Candidates who had passed 10+2 with grace marks in any subject can also apply provided they have scored mentioned aggregate % excluding grace marks.
Result awaited student are also eligible on provisional basis.
OR
Candidate who have passed Diploma in Engg. & Tech. examination with at least 45% masks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh) Subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.M.E./M.TechCandidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant branch of Engg./Technology with above mentioned percentage.
The mentioned SC/ST percentage is for Madhya Pradesh residents.
Candidate belonging to OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh should have at least 45%.
Bachelors degree should be of minimum of four years duration and have been obtained from any AICTE approved institution or Indian University/ Institute or from a foreign University recognised by AIU or any Institutes of national importance (i.e. IITs/ IISc/NITs etc.) duly recognised by the MHRD, as equivalent thereto.
Candidates in the Final year of above degree examinations can also apply on provisional basis.
Rounding of marks or percentage is not permissible.
