To get into the M.Pharm programme offered by the NSHM Institute of Health Sciences at Kolkata, high GPAT scores are common. GPAT is a common entrance test conducted nationally for the pharmacy Post Graduate courses and it is accepted almost for eligibility everywhere. Otherwise if a GPAT score can't be produced, then the institute can accept other entrance exams or even set up and administer its own test. However, GPAT continues to be the embedded and the primary requirement for student admission into the program.

For all the undergraduate programs of B.Pharm admission, the applicants should minimum 10+2 level education with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology and additionally they need to get entry in WBJEE.
