There is no national ranking of Pandit Nilakantha College of Library & Information Science. Although it is recognised for affiliated Bachelor and Master programs by Utkal University, it is not ranked anywhere among the top compared with the leading institutions like Delhi University or Banaras Hindu University, which are more established in this discipline. The college is recognised for its faculty members who have experience and practical training methods, which makes it a respectable choice within Odisha for those pursuing library Science education.
