Sinhgad College of Engineering is a good college to pursue your degree. It has an impressive placement record as well as good overall rankings. You can proceed with the admission in the college. However there are even better options available which you can go for. If you are eligible for Sinhgad you can apply for some other better colleges if you want and may also avail scholarships. Automobile is a very good stream to get admission as it will provide you a great career in top Automobile company which is a dream job of any mechanical Engineer but i would like to recommend you to select the university cautiously as in this stream along with technical skills one also need to boost your practical ideas .here are some of the colleges where you can get admission by availing high scholarship:

If you have a knack for science and math, either mechanical engineering or computer programming could satisfy you on the job. But beyond their technical bent, the two are quite different. Mechanical engineers invent new products and mainly deals with machines, manufacturing and automobile sector. For that you need to do Masters and then Doctor of Philosophy in area of interest. Also you need to make sure that your academics are consistently good throughout. And if possible try to complete your degrees and doctrate from Tier 1 colleges. Then you can apply for ISRO to join as scientist.
One more important thing to note here is this to be scientist is not like doing an ordinary job. It requires lot of work done and time spent in laboratories rather than office. So think only to join ISRO if you are up to do hard work and research.

First step to become scientist is to choose a stream( Physics / Chemistry etc) in Science in which you want to specialise. Standard education profile is BSc (Hons) MSc PhD. After your efucation you can join R&D organisation such as CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, TIFR etc to work as scientist. Some of Technical Institutes or universities also have openings for scientists.

12th is better, because in 12th class you got the complete idea of all subject basics. Your first step is to join a reputed coaching institute. Once you do that,just follow the advice of the professors there.Be prepared to study for 3 hours daily. Basically, you should pick up some good standard books and start studying from them.
