In general, holding a degree in Genetics, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree, does not confer the title of ‘Doctor’. The title of Doctor is typically associated with individuals who have completed a doctoral-level degree, such as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a professional doctoral degree in a specific field.

Hi, yes you can pursue a degree in Genetics without a background in Mathematics, especially at the UG level. While some degree programs may have minimal math requirements, the emphasis in Genetics is generally on biological and molecular concepts rather than advanced mathematical principles.

Hi, though both fields have unique characteristics and applications. If you are into genetic information, heredity, and the molecular basis of traits, Genetics might be a better fit. If you are interested in applying biological principles to develop new technologies, Biotechnology could be more suitable.Further, if you aspire to work in the development of new drugs, biotechnological processes, or genetic engineering, Biotechnology might align better.
