For admission to a BSc course of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, it is necessary that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. Aspiranst who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board in any stream with at least 45% aggregate are eligible for admission. Candidate must hold the relevant document for verification as well. Further, it must be noted that the mentioned aggregate is as per some unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative.

Candidates can download the application form and prospectus from the official website of NIELIT Kolkata for offline submission. Candidates need to submit the form along with the specified documents. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 500 for an O/ A/ B level course. The application fee is INR 1,000 + 12% GST for General and other candidates.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology kolkata considers NIELIT Entrance Exam score for admission to non-formal courses. Aspirants who wish to get admission in O, A and B Level courses need to qualify the entrance exam. However, aspirants meeting specific criteria can get direct admission. The selection for MSc and PG diploma courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

IISER Kolkata follows the seat reservation rules laid down by the Government of India. As per an official document, the institute reserves 64.5% of the seats for reserved category students, including OBC, SC, and ST. As per the policy, the highest number of reservations (27%) is provided to candidates belonging to the OBC category. For SC and ST students, a total of 15% and 7.5% of seats are reserved, respectively.Note: The above information is taken from the official brochure for the year 2024.
