Yes, an Indian student can apply to Scripps College, but an average Indian student has a chance only if he or she meets the academic and extracurricular requirement. Scripps College is a selective liberal arts college in California which looks for well-rounded applicants with strong academic performance and extracurricular involvements, personal essays and recommendation letters.

Scripps College does not offer a variety of online courses. However, it does offer summer courses to students who wish to take extra classes. Summer courses offered at Scripps College in Summer 24 are Introductory Biology and Basic Principles of Chemistry.

Finding part-time jobs at Scripps College is manageable for students. The college offers on-campus employment to students. Students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week. Students are paid hourly. The hourly wage for on-campus employment is approximately $9 per hour.  Students can work off campus at other Claremont Colleges or with partnering community service organizations. On-campus housing fosters a strong sense of community. There are twelve residence halls on campus. 95% of the students live in school-sponsored housing. All residence halls have a living room, kitchen, computer lab and laundry room. The cost of housing and food on campus is $22,136.  Living on campus allows for easy access to academic resources, libraries, dining facilities, and campus events. Internationally, Scripps College is highly valued, especially when it comes to liberal arts education. Getting into Scripps can be a difficult task. The acceptance rate of Scripps College is 34% which indicates that the college is highly selective. Scripps is a test-optional college so students are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores. However, half the applicants admitted to Scripps College who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1420 and 1530 or an ACT score of 32 and 34. The average GPA at Scripps College is 4. International students need to submit English proficiency test scores. Two letters of recommendation are also required for admission.
