The digital portfolio must be a compilation of the candidate’s best works and showcase their skills, passion, and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. The candidate must ensure that the portfolio includes items that he or she is proud of. Try to be different and include unique and interesting things.When uploading the portfolio, the candidate must follow the specifications and guidelines issued by the admission official.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) released the first merit list on April 21, 2025. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website; i.e. sid.edu.in.To download the merit list, the candidate will have to log in to the result portal using their B.Des ID and password.The merit list will include the merit rank of the candidate and the seat allotment status. Candidates who are included in the merit list will have to get registered for the programme and pay the fee on or before May 2, 2025.

Candidate seeking admission to the M.Des programme need to meet the following criteria:Qualifying exam: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization, after 10+2 or equivalent a recognised institute.ORFull-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Architecture, after 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised institute.Minimum marks:The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC and ST categories).

The Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will conducted from March 28-30, 2025. Meanwhile, Phase 2 will be conducted from April 11-13, 2025.The candidate was notified about the phase they needed to appear in through the PRPI admit card. Note that the personal interaction was conducted in an online mode.

The results of the SEED 2025 written exam will be declared on January 17, 2025.
