The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will release the updated syllabus for the SEED 2025 exam on its official portal at the time of release of the application form or sometime thereabout. The candidate can downoad the syllabus online at - sid.edu.in. The SEED 2025 syllabus will contain the topics that the candidate needs to prepare for the SEED 2025 entrance exam. It is recommended that the candidate only follows the official syllabus and not those released by unofficial sources. It is because questions will be asked from the official syllabus only. Also, unofficial sites may contain error-prone and misleading information.

The candidate can download the official syllabus of SEED 2025 from the official website of the Symbiosis Institute of Design - sid.edu.in. In the homepage of SID, click on “Admission Process” under “Programmes.” The window that opens will contain information on the SEED 2025 syllabus. The candidate can note down the syllabus. The other option is to visit our page and download the updated syllabus for the SEED 2025 exam. The SEED 2025 syllabus will contain the topics from which questions will be asked in the exam.

As per the information given on SID website, the institute does not promote or is aware of any coaching classes/preparatory classes. So, the candidate has the discretion to decide whether the want to join any coaching institute of not. Note that there are many coaching institutes that offer preparatory classes for exams like NIFT, NID DAT, etc.The candidate also has the option of downloading preparation materials online. But note that most practice materials are chargeable.

Candidate seeking admission to the M.Des programme need to meet the following criteria:Qualifying exam: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization, after 10+2 or equivalent a recognised institute.ORFull-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Architecture, after 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised institute.Minimum marks:The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC and ST categories).

Yes, candidates seeking admission to the B.Desprogrammeneed to compulsory appear in the SEED 2025 exam.The scores of the SEED 2025 exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round.Note that the final merit list will be prepared by considering the cumulative performance of the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction (PRPI).So, any candidate who appears in the SEED but doesn’t appear in the PRPI will not be considered for admission. The B.Des is a 4-year course carrying 160 credits.

Ideally, a digital portfolio should be a compilation of the best works showcasing the candidate's skills, passion and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. One must make sure to include the work he/ she is the proudest of. Try to be different and include unique and interesting things. Note that if the admission committee feels that any unfair means was adopted in the making of your portfolio, the candidature of the candidfate may be cancelled. The maximum size of the portfolio should be 5 MB. Click good quality pictures of these and compile them in a Power Point Presentation of maximum 15 slides.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the SEED 2025 written exam on January 12, 2025. The exam will be of 1 hour duration (to be conducted between 10 am to 4 pm).The exam slot allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.On exam day, the candidate has to be ready an hour so before the exam to ensure all pre-exam formalites are comleted on time. The SEED exam will be being conducted in an online proctored mode.

The application form of SEED 2025 has to be filled online. There is no option to apply for the exam in offline mode. To fill out the form, go to the SID admission portals. Click on the registration link and get registered. Upon registration, an applicant account will be created. Next, log in to the portal complete the rest of the form, including uploading of documents and payment of fees.Also, don't download the online application form, take a printout, fill it, and send the complete application to the admission office. 

The application form for SEED 2025 will open in online mode at sid.edu.in. Hard copies of the application form will not be available.Also, if the candidate somehow downloads the online application form, fills it, and then sends it to the admission office, such application will also not be accepted.So, the form will has to be mandatorily filled online.To fill out the form, go to the SID website, click on the application link, and then complete the process.Note that as part of the application process, you will also have to pay an application fee.
