The call letters for the personal interview (PRPI admit card) were issued on March 21, 2025. The admit card were issued only to candidates who complete the slot booking process. Note hard copies of the call letter are sent to the candidate.On the day of the PRPI, the candidate will have to display the admit card on demand. Any candidate failing to do so will not be allowed to sit in the exam.

The slot booking process of SEED 2025 for the Personal Interaction will open on January 21, 2025.Candidates who have qualified in the written exams have to book their slots by January 29, 2025. The slot booking process will open online at sid.edu.in.You need to log in to the portal using your log-in ID and password to book your slots.Upon successful slot booking, call letters will be issued.

The results of the SEED 2025 written exam will be declared on January 17, 2025. The results will be declared online at sid.edu.in.To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the portal using their B.Des ID and password.The result will include details like sectional marks, total marks, and the qualifying status.Candidates who qualify in the written exam will have to next appear in a portfolio and personal interaction round.The final results-cum-merit list of SEED 2025 will released on April 21, 2025.It will be prepared by  cumulative performance of the candidate in SEED 2025 exam, Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Person

The SEED 2025 written will be a 60 minutes exam. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots between 10 am and 4 pm.The SEED question paper will include 60 questions.The following types of questions will be asked during the exam - MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension based.Further, the paper will contain a mix of questions related to Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) conducted the SEED 2024 written exam on January 14, 2024. The exam was 1 hour long (conducted between 10 am to 4 pm).The exam slot was mentioned in the admit card.On exam day, the candidate had to be ready an hour so before the exam to ensure all pre-exam formalites are comleted on time. The SEED exam is being conducted in an online proctored mode.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) hasn't notified that taking the mock tests is mandatory for admission to the B.Des programme or appearing in SEED 2024. So, it is the discretion of the candidate whether they appear in the mocks or not. That being said it is recommended that the candidate takes the mock tests.It is because the exercise will help the candidate check out the technicalities of the online proctored exam. This in turn will ensure that there are no unnecessary surprises on exam day.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the mock tests in online mode only. There will be no option to take the mocks in offline mode. The mock tests will be uploaded on the SID admission portal - sid.ed.in. To take the mock tests, the candidate will have to log in to the portal using candidate credentials.SID will conduct two mock test; the 1st mock will be conducted on December 17, followed by the 2nd mock test on December 18, 2023. The mock tests will contain similar types of questions to the ones asked in the actual exam. Yes, SEED is compulsory for admission to the BDes programme at Symbiosis Institute of Design. Passing the exam followed by Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction rounds is necessary. For students appearing for SEED for the first time, SEED preparation tips can be helpful. Also do fill out the application form timely so that exam preparation can be started early. Other than this, hard work and determination are very important.

Ideally, the candidate must be ready for the online exam an hour or so before the exam commences. The Symbiosis Institute of Design will release the detailed reporting time on its official website.The SEED 2025 written exams will be conducted in an online proctored, computer-based modle. This means the candiadate has the option to appear in the exam from a place of their choice. To take the online exam, the candidate will need a laptop/desktop, webcam, internet, and a few other software and hardware requirements.
