You don't have to come to the campus. For every entrance test in India, various centres are spread all over the country. You will be assigned a centre based on your city and state, where you will be reporting for the test.
Symbiosis conducts an online test. You are made to sit in labs.

For getting into any college you need to give an entrance exam. For getting into symbiosis you need to give its entrance exam named SET. There are two levels of SET. 1st level will be an online exam which consists of quantitative aptitude, verbal, English, reasoning, G.K. If you clear this then you will be called for an interview. After clearing both the levels, you will get the symbiosis campus as per your preference.

You must be appearing for SSC or other job exam. They will reveal the video of how to give exam in their official website. Or, on the day of exam you just have to login into the site with your Id and password that they will give you. Then, questions will appear. Keep clicking on options MCQ options and submit it. The exam is generally held in the month of May. You will be done with your class 12th exams by then. You cannot take SET before that.

Yes, ofcourse it will help you in getting into a good college.
But for Symbiosis, you need to clear the entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis but a good score in 12th always going to add a plus point.
