Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not prescribe any specific syllabus for the SET exam. However, the SET question paper will be divided into four main sections based on topics, i.e., General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The SET question paper will carry multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The weightage of the questions and topics varies in each section. However the syllabus may vary depending on the programme chosen by the candidate. The SET exam 2024 was conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT) on May 5, 2024, and May 11, 2024. The students appearing for the SET exam must have conceptual and fundamental clarity of the important topics of the SET question paper. 

General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and General English are the three areas of the SET exam that have equal weighting. If a question is answered correctly, one mark is awarded. Both wrongly marked answers and unanswered questions do not result in a mark deduction or a negative mark. Analytical and Logical Reasoning, the final section of the SET exam, is the one with the least weight. This portion consists of just 12 questions, each worth one mark. Each of the four sections has the same marking scheme. Yes, you can fill the SET application form 2024 on one day and pay the fee on another day as it is not mandatory to register for SET exam and fill the application form or pay the fee in one go. The registration and application window will remain open for the candidate who has registered for the exam and created and ID, until the last date of form submission. The applicant can login in and check/fill/edit the SET application form anytime during the form filling period. Only the phone number and email ID will not be editable once registration is done. However, candidates need to submit the SET form and application fee before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam. The SET application form will not be submitted until the fee payment is done. The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI wallet.Candidates must also note that the candiates need to pay the application fee first and only then they will be allowed to fill the second part of the application form where they need to choose their test cities, add communication address and choose the institute and pay the fee for the institute. The SET application form will only be considered complete once the Part I and II of the form have been completed.
