No, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College admission to all the courses, i.e., undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, is entrance-based. While this DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BCom, etc., admission to all the postgraduate courses is subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2024. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to undergraduate was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU.

While Shaheed Bhagat Singh College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2024. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. The applications for Shaheed Bhagat Singh College that run simultaneously with DU registrations for undergraduate courses via CUET 2023 (for UG programmes) began on Feb 10, 2023, and were open till Mar 30. Additionally, for admission to postgraduate courses, CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. No, there is no offline method of application at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG and CUET PG exam. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission to Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible.
