To secure a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC), University of Delhi, meet the eligibility criteria: Minimum qualification 10+2 passing and the candidate should secure at least 45 percent marks (40 percent to SC/ST category) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Cutoff varies from 95%-98% for general category candidates, whereas for OBC candidates, the cutoff is between 90-94%; for SC/ST candidates, the cutoff score is between 85-90%. Registration is done in May-June and there are normally 5-7 cut-offs. Admission rate: 60-70%. Seats: General – 80, OBC -24, SC- 22, ST – 11, EWS- 8.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) at the University of Delhi is one of the leading colleges ranked NAAC A grade with a CGPA of 3.26 out of four. Originally, SBSC was started in 1967 to offer Undergraduate courses in arts, commerce, and science, and Post Graduate courses in commerce. According to the India Today ranking in 2024 ranked 33 for arts. It has unbeatable records of placements with the highest salary of INR 23 LPA and an average salary of INR 4.35 LPA in 2023.
