There is different weigtage given to both, you could check the latest weightage for the latest admission criteria after 12th exams as it changes every year.

The highest package is around 16-17 LPA. There is no information available for the average package as the placement season is still not complete for 2017-18.

Hi Vaibhav,
Till the last year, it was necessary to have maths as a subject to get admission. However, I would recommend to stay updated with the new notifications for BMS after your Board exams as they can change the eligibility criteria from year to year.
