The courses offered by SKUAST Jammu are BSc, BVSc, MSc, MBA, MVSc, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate. SKUAST Jammu offers 67 courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels in multiple streams such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, etc. The university accepts admission to its courses based on valid scores in SKUAST J-CET (Jammu Common Entrance Test).

SKUAST accepts UG, PG and PhD students on the basis of valid scores in SKUAST J CET exam.  Aspirants applying through ICAT Quota are offered seats through All India Counselling by ICAR after CUET. Admission under VCI Quota is offered through NEET based on the list provided by VCI via their counselling portal.
