A dual degree programme or a double degree programme allows a student to work on both b tech engineering courses at the same time, allowing him to complete the two degrees in less time than if he had studied for different institutes separately. This should not be confused with the other type of dual-degree programme, in which the student studies the two courses as a single unit, such as mechatronics, which combines mechanical and electrical engineering, and where the course duration is shorter than the individual degree and can be completed in less time.

Both universities are good, As a per my knowledge based on my research I will suggest LPU. Been an part of LPU, I can share the detail of Mechanical engineering. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions, and accreditation down the lane and marks itself amongst the few of the top private universities. The Mechanical Engineering programme seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. Placements: There are more than 100 companie
