The Placement Cell at MVJCE facilitates between the corporate and the student for recruitment. More importantly, it is geared to understand corporate requirements and develop students who are employable. In the 4 years of engineering at MVJCE, this is accomplished through 160 additional hours of targeted training. Our programmes are designed to improve confidence levels, analytical thought, presentation delivery, communication skills and technical know-how. MVJCEs Placement Cell is supported by group discussion rooms, interview rooms, seminar halls, and more than 400 computers with 10MBPS dedicated internet and LAN connectivity that can be utilised for online tests. Constant interactions with organisations from different industries and across the country ensure that the student and the Institute are always aware and knowledgeable of changing trends in the corporate world. Our placement division assists students with recruitments and creates opportunities through projects, seminars, guest faculty from various industries, internships and any other Industry-Institute Partnership of which the students can be a part.

There is a placement cell meant for it. Industrial companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Indian Navy, Seventh Sense Talent Solutions, Yes Bank, Ashahi, HP, Bosch, CMRIT, Berger, Ashok Leyland, Tech Mahindra, Usha Armour, L&T, Lee spring and more than 50+ companies do recruit well-performing candidates. Placements are good for software/IT core branches and not for hardware branches like civil, mechanical, automobile and aeronautical. For CSE students in 2015, the average package was 4 LPA and the highest package is 16 LPA, overall 80% students get placed. Overall, it is a great brand and much better than NMIT in terms of overall job offers, placement assistance as well as faculty alumni support. NMIT doesn't have a great brand name either, so not recommended either.

The training and placement wing at the university looks after the training and placement activities on a continuing basis. Staffed by senior professionals and placement executives, the team initiates and maintains the University-Industry dialogue and manages the summer internship programme and final placement activities. The team evaluates student performance levels and ensures relevant preparation for their corporate placements. Working both at the supply and demand sides of the placement, the team plays the vital intermediary role of matching academic excellence and industry expectations and counseling the students appropriately. The university believes that the entire placement exercise is a joint effort between the university and the students. While the university provides guidance, support and network with potential employers, the students have the responsibility to put in the maximum possible efforts to obtain suitable placements.

The new recruiter, Arcesium India from Hyderabad, a software development company, recruited three students M. Radhika, P. R. Prasad and M. Nikhil, who are all studying computer Science engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy for huge package of Rs 28 Lacs per annum. Last year, Code Nation, a software developer from Bengaluru offered the maximum salary of Rs 24 Lacs per annum for two student. The public sector undertakings like Power Grid Corporation of India and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) usually will come for recruitment in the months of March and April.

Considering the placement report of 2016 of Anna University in mechanical branch almost 75 students got placed while 10% student went on for the further studies abroad. Some of the companies that make round during placement season are:

Ltd.

Although the seats are limited, teaching faculty for Engineering Physics is excellent in the IITs. The placement record for this engineering branch is also good in the IIT Madras. After finishing Engineering Physics from one of the IITs, scholars have immense job opportunities. Selection in IIT placements means a job in best companies and excellent remuneration package. Engineering Physics degree holders from IITs are evolved in research and development activities. They are usually hired by different industries like telecom, microelectronics, lasers, and micro-devices, etc. This a searchable branch, so you always have an option of higher studies.

TCS comes with both job and internship opportunities every year. Tech Mahindra is one of the core recruiters. Epsilon also takes students from civil branch. However, placement policies are not up to the mark. Alliance University:-
As far as academics is concerned, it is a pretty good university to pursue a B.Tech degree given that is a fairly new university, the faculty are good and supportive and most importantly the campus environment is impeccable, but what gives Alliance the edge over other colleges not only Bangalore but India has its tie ups with international schools and exchange programs which will give you the opportunity to have an international experience.
