Computer Science engineering is most popular course in engineering. So, if your interest lies in coding and other software related stuff then Choosing IIT Delhi over IIT Bombay will be a good decision. Placement wise both the colleges have 100 percent Placement but some of the electrical and electronics engineering students end up in IT sector. Average package of CSE in IIT Delhi is higher than EEE in IIT Bombay. I will place Computer Science engineering in IIT Delhi on top only due to placement.

Pune have many engineering branches and the institute is having great infrastructure and study environment, if I tell specifically about the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, it is well-equipped and have spacious laboratories and highly qualified faculty. The B.E Electronics and Telecommunication course aims to teach students the fundamental skills required to satisfy the needs of a growing economy incorporated with applied engineering aspects. The placement is quite good of COEP around 90% of students get placed and rest move out for higher studies or for startups. The recruiting companies in College of Engineering Pune are as follows:

out of 35, 29 students got core offers which denotes 90% students got placed which is very lucrative, hence Instrumentation Engineering is recommended for COE Pune. However, last year with huge faculty and alumni support, the placements were astonishing for Instrumentation Engineering branch.

Although only 50% students got placed which is not attractive, hence Metallurgy Engineering is not recommended for COE Pune. The college needs dedicated orchestrated efforts to rope in many more companies as the list is not exhaustive enough for such huge strength of students at COE and revitalize its strategy to attract companies.

Mumbai is a one of the well-known engineering colleges in Maharashtra and is said to be ranked second in Maharashtra after College of engineering, Pune (excluding IITs and NITs). Getting into this college through MH-CET requires a lot of efforts too. Placements of VJTI are pretty good when compared to other government colleges in Maharashtra. For EEE department last time (2016-17) out of 64 students who applied to placements from EEE department 59 students were placed meaning 92.18 percent placement for EEE which is a quite good number. More than 55 companies visited the campus for recruiting from EEE department. The lowest package offered was around 3 LPA and the highest package offered was around 19.5 LPA. Many reputed companies visited the campus.

Faculty and infrastructure are world class anyway at VJTI with some industry heads and gurus for guest lectures. VJTI is heritage and legacy brand and holds high esteem in rankings. Mechanic engineering has attracted nearly best placements. Average Package is 6 LPA. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 26LPA. The percentage rate is almost 100% for Mechanical engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month. The internships duration is mostly around 2 months to 4months on average. VJTI is known for its academia and widely reputed as ranks in top 25 colleges in India. The diverse set of students bring peer learning at its best and also alumni support is great.
