Hi there,
M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is a UGC approved private university which is situated in Bangalore. It was established in 2013.
The placements there are quite good but not as good as MSRIT. Many students get confused between MSRIT & MS Ramiah University of Applied Science.

Placements average package: 3.5 LPA
Highest package: 10 LPA

Most people say that PES is better than DSCE. The college offers best placements in this course, placing between 90%-100% students. Companies visiting the campus include Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra etc. Average salary package offered is INR 4.5 Lacs per annum with the highest ranging between INR 24 Lacs - INR 28 Lacs per annum. First, I would like you to know about both of these colleges, that both of these colleges are in the list of top 10 best private colleges in India. Both of these colleges are best private colleges in Bangalore. Both of these colleges are known for their infrastructure, facilities provided by them, faculty members and campus. Both engineering have their own significant values but as you can see there are only few private colleges which holds the degree of automobile engineering. So, its better to go with mechanical engineering as mechanical engineering provide many job opportunities nowadays in all private sector and public sectors. And if you were thinking about government jobs in PSU sectors then I suggest you to go with Mechanical Engineering as it has a scope for that.

The scope of ECE is same as CSE i.e. very high, but for government jobs, electrical engineering is better than EC because it is a core branch so it has more opportunities in public sector.

Thapar University-Patiala has very good Placement record in CS dept. A separate Computer department is in process, which has almost all kinds of facility/course/labs related to computer. Average package of Computer Engineering in the year 2016 was around INR 8 Lacs per annum. The highest Package offered (Domestic) was INR 18.5 Lacs per annum (Wallmart and De Shaw) and international package was INR 32 Lacs per annum. Companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, Deshaw, etc. visited the university. Placement is almost 100 percent for Computer engineering branch. Tuition fees at Manipal is very high. Than RVCE. RVCE's CSE is about 8-9. LPA. MIT's CSE AVG package is 4-5 LPA. For CSE, RVCE would be good.
