Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies is a good institute as it insures hundred percent placement to it cadets and works hard to achieve it at the end of placement sessions. I would like to say that it is quite good, as already 90-95% students have been placed. The companies which selected them, include some big names like Walmart Labs, Amazon, Optym and many more companies. Regarding the salary which has been offered, the average was around 11.5-12 lakhs.

But around 10 to 15% students of Chemical Engineering only get placed in core companies and rest of the students get placed in the mass recruiter IT companies like TCS, Accenture,etc.

According to the reviews of the students Sastra University placement of B.Tech students in mechanical engineering are not very good. According to the students about 20 to 25% students get placed in the core companies and rest of the students gets placed in the non-core companies which are mass recruiter like TCS, Accenture, etc.
You have to study hard to be in that 20 to 25% students and to get good placements in core companies.
Due to the students getting placed in mass recruiter companies they provide only the average salary to the students of mechanical engineering.

MIT School of Engineering is not the best but comes under the category of elite institutions in India. The college has a nice infrastructure, curriculum, academics and most important the vibrant co-curricular culture.
MIT-Pune is a private college affiliated to the University of Pune and has nice placement record when talking about civil engineering. The average placement is around 4 to 5 LPA and highest reaching up to 13 LPA.
The mass recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Wipro.
Also, some of the good global and national corporates visiting are Volkswagon, Hero, ITC, Axis Bank, Airtel, Amazon, Cisco, IGATE, etc.
The institution is overall very nice and one can get it by scoring 150 marks in MHT-CET for CSE.
The only con in the institution is the huge amount of fee. It is obvious due to its private nature, still, it will worth if you can get an education loan and some financial help from external sources.
