Yes, energy engineering is a growing sector in India. Hydro, Solar, Nuclear, Tidal are some of the energy sources which are preferred as energy sources in various parts of India. Yes, it's a good specialization to pursue in engineering.
However, when we speak of the placements through TNAU, they differ. The actual campus placements are not very impressive and hence the course is not very popular through TNAU.
In case the students do pursue this field then it would be self placements through which they can build established careers.

Cracking BITSAT isn't about the books you use. It is more about clarity of concepts and lots of problem solving and an excellent time management. If you have prepared rigorously for JEE then you won't need any extra book for BITSAT. Rather I would suggest giving lots of mock tests. Make sure you are thorough with all the formulas and general solution for simple cases as it can save a lot of time in exam.
The main point is timed practice and lots of revision. Apart from that take a look at previous year's papers. There are some books available in market for mock tests but buy only from trusted publishers. Have confidence before going t

Hi,
Yes, one can go for Diploma in engineering after successfully clearing class 10th. Many polytechnic colleges have been established which are providing this course.
This course is valued almost same as class 12th and in some places more than class 12th, such as in B.Tech if a student wants to do B.Tech after diploma then he/she can directly take admission into 2nd year.
Eligibility:
Minimum qualification required for admission into a Diploma course is clearing Secondary School /tenth standard/equivalent examination, with at least 45 percent in science and maths subjects.
How to get admission?
All state and central govt. conduct their own

Hello, let me tell you about the placement and internship trend of IIT Guwahati. You won't believe, due to so much hype about the internships abroad, students generally intern abroad in a huge number and it is highest as compared to any other IITs. Even students in the mechanical department with "F" in their courses who got internships abroad. In my honest opinion, since there are a large number of reputed CS companies which come to the campus for internships, probably the good students find it too lucrative to get in them and hence end up not doing foreign internships. Thus, many students end up getting pre- placement offers (PPOs) f

When it comes to petroleum engineering in particular, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has got no match all across India. If we talk about last 2-3 years, almost top 60% (GPA wise, good communication skills, good CV) of the total strength (100 - 110) got placement in core companies like Schlumberger, Shell, Cairn India, Halliburton etc. which is above Rs 10 to Rs 12 lakhs per annum. Rest of them have to accept either the placement offers of IT companies or have to go for further studies. There is a very little scope of off-campus placements in India. Quality placements are very good but quantity placements are not so good in core companies - this mea

Both the colleges are newly established in PPP (public private partnership) model. Now if you want to compare these two colleges you can compare using certain parameters:
1. Location: Sricity is not a very big city not so behind Vadodara. You may choose one which is nearest to you home town.
2. Infrastructure: Both the colleges are new and infrastructure is just average.
3. Quality of crowd: Cutoff for both the colleges are similar. Students of IIIT Sri City are bit talented. Mentor Institute of IIIT Sri city is IIIT Hyderabad so one can easily understand the importance of being there. Coding culture is good there.
4.Faculty and Placement:

MIT School of Engineering is quite a reputed college, with good placements records.
Some insights of the college are:

The placements of aerospace engineering are quite pathetic so you have to be your own and need to work very hard to get placed in top aerospace companies.
